With improved manufacturing methods and cleverly sourced materials, natural sandstone paving by Bradstone now doesn’t cost much more than their man-made alternatives. This natural sandstone has a colour or should I say set of colours described as Heather Ridge and features a variety of hues including brown, grey, yellow and taupe to make up this subtle blend. Not only does heather ridge sandstone contain a selection of contrasting colours but also an array of sizes that make up the convenient patio packs in which it is retailed.
A patio pack of Bradstone’s natural sandstone paving features 48 slabs in total and can cover 15.30m² if laid with the recommended 15mm joint gaps which allow for movement over time and reduce the likelihood of the slabs from cracking. These patio packs cost £382.35 from our recommended retailer and contain thirteen 900mm x 600mm slabs, thirteen 600mm x 600mm, thirteen 600mm x 300mm and nine 300mm x 300mm slabs. This convenient combination of sizes that fit against one another make it easy and cheap to achieve the diverse style of assorted paving slabs.
There are eight colours of Bradstone natural sandstone paving in total with which heather ridge slabs can be easily mixed but given the different contrasting colours already featured within heather ridge you may find this unnecessary. Each paving slab is of course unique as it is natural although all feature a subtle riven texture that both adds a rustic style to your patio and also adds the practical aspect of offering grip.
